Amphibious.
The dragon can breathe both air and water.
Legendary Resistance (2/Day).
If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Multiattack. The dragon makes four attacks: two with its different bites and two with its claws. Or it can take two different breath attacks.
Bite (Amethyst). Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) Force damage.
Bite (Topaz). Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) Necrotic damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage.
The dragon creates a shining bead of gravitational force in its mouth, then releases the energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 36 (8d8) force damage, and its speed becomes 0 until the start of the dragon's next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage, and its speed isn't reduced.
Desiccating Breath (Topaz) (Recharge 5–6).
The dragon exhales yellowish necrotic energy in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 38 (12d6) necrotic damage and is weakened until the end of its next turn. A weakened creature has disadvantage on Strength-based ability checks and Strength saving throws, and the creature's weapon attacks that rely on Strength deal half damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't weakened.
The dragon casts one of the following spells, requiring no spell components and using Intelligence as the spellcasting ability (spell save DC 16):
-
1/day each: blink, dispel magic, protection from evil and good, sending, bane, create or destroy water
The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. | |||||
