Description
These hybrids have wingspans of 15 to 20 feet and typically dive for small marine prey, though they are opportunists and will attack any creature that appears edible. A spideranodon has no teeth, instead using its sharp beak to stab prey too large to swallow with one gulp.
To snare its prey, a spideranodon spins elaborate webs or shoots sticky strands of webbing from its abdomen. Spideranodons are most commonly found underground, making their lairs on ceilings or in dark, web-filled crevices. Such lairs are often festooned with web cocoons holding past victims.
