Amphibious. The chimera can breathe air and water.
Multiattack. The chimera makes three attacks: one with its bite, one with its stinger, and one with its claws. When its acid breath is available, it can use the breath in place of its bite. It can also choose to constrict a target in place of its claw attack.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) acid damage.
Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing damage.
Stinger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) piercing damage. The target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 24 (7d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Constrict. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the creature is restrained, and the chimera can't constrict another target.
Acid Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon head exhales acid in a 25--foot line. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 31 (7d8) acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Description
A black swamp chimera is a vile combination of giant constrictor snake, wyvern, and dragon. It features the head of a black dragon, the body of a giant constrictor snake, and the wings and tail of a wyvern. It enjoys ambushing its prey from below in large bodies of water within the swamp it inhabits or from above in the canopies of the trees within the swamp.
