Description

Yumboes are a diminutive fey race standing about 1 feet tall, with dark, almost luminous skin that carries a bronze-like glow. From a distance, they appear as golden or white lights, adding to their ethereal presence. They have translucent iridescent wings. Their attire is adorned with intricate patterns and vibrant colors, reflecting their connection with nature.

Guardians of Lost Spirits

Yumboes possess a unique ability to perceive and interact with the resentful dead or lost spirits. They are compassionate beings who strive to comfort these spirits and guide them towards peaceful resolution. If the spirits wish to cross over, Yumboes will assist them in their journey. For those who choose not to cross over, Yumboes will lead them to secluded forests, meadows, and peaceful waters, preventing them from becoming malevolent entities.

Defenders of the Spirit Realm

Yumboes actively protect innocent ghosts from misguided adventurers who may seek to harm them. They intervene to prevent violence against spirits that pose no threat, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining a balance between the material and spirit realms.

Nighttime Revelry

Yumboes come alive at night, engaging in joyous festivities of music, dance, and storytelling. Their nocturnal activities often coincide with their interactions with spirits, as they provide solace and companionship to those who linger between worlds.

Stealth and Illusion

Inherent to their fey nature, Yumboes possess exceptional stealth and illusionary skills, allowing them to navigate the unseen realms and remain hidden from those who may not understand their purpose.
