Miasma. The Vine Troll releases a toxic miasma withing a 15ft radius (30ft) sphere, all creatures within must make a DC 15 or take 13 (3d8) poison damage. The miasma last for 1 minute, each round spent in the miasma deals an additional 4 (1d8) poison damage. 1/day.
Regeneration. The troll regains 10 hit points at the start of its turn. If the troll takes acid or fire damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of the troll’s next turn. The troll dies only if it starts its turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate. Similar to a Shambling Mound, the Vine Troll is immune to lightning damage and even heals from any lightning damage it receives.
Multiattack. The troll makes one Bite attack and two Claw attacks.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 16 (2d10 + 5) piercing damage plus 4 (1d8) poison damage, and the target is poisoned until the start of the troll’s next turn.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Vine Whip. Range Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 60 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is medium or smaller, it is pulled 10 ft and is grappled. They must succeed a DC 15 Strength save to escape the grapple. On each of its turns that a creature is grappled, the creature will be pulled 10 ft. closer.
