Nullifying Aura: Within 30 feet of the Abyssal Nullifier, all creatures are affected by a nullifying aura. This aura suppresses sight, hearing, and sense of touch. Creatures affected by this aura are considered blinded, deafened, and lose their sense of touch, granting them disadvantage on all ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws that rely on sight, hearing, or touch. Players will no longer be able to tell if they were hurt or how many hit points they have until they are in death saves.

Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Abyssal Nullifier can't use the same tentacle on another target.
  • Bite (Melee Weapon Attack): +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d10 + 4) piercing damage.

Legendary Actions

The Abyssal Nullifier can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Abyssal Nullifier regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Nullifying Gaze (Costs 2 Actions): The Abyssal Nullifier targets one creature it can see within 60 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed until the end of its next turn.

Sweeping Strike (Costs 2 Actions): The Abyssal Nullifier makes a tentacle attack against each creature within 10 feet of it.

Teleportation (Cost 3 Actions): The Abyssal Nullifier can move to an area it can see within 50 feet of itself.

Blinded by its nullifying aura, victims find themselves robbed of their sight, their hearing, and even their sense of touch. Utterly disoriented, they will stumble around, unable to discern friend from foe, as the Abyssal Nullifier closes in for the kill.

Despite its lumbering gait, the Abyssal Nullifier is a relentless hunter, its tentacles lashing out with startling speed to ensnare its prey. Once captured in its grasp, victims are subjected to agonizing torment, their senses further assaulted by the creature's ravenous bite.

Only the bravest or most foolhardy adventurers dare to confront the Abyssal Nullifier, knowing that victory against such a formidable foe requires not only strength and skill but also the resilience to endure the horrors of its nullifying aura. Those who dare to face this abomination must be prepared for a battle unlike any other, where survival hinges on their ability to overcome the darkness that lies within.
