Elemental Demise. If the mage dies, its body disintegrates, leaving behind only the equipment the mage was wearing or carrying.

Spellcasting. Vivian is a 4th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 19, +11 to hit with spell attacks). Vivian has the following Wizard spells prepared:

==========STRAIGHT DAMAGE==========

Scorching Ray. Three rays of fire, 120ft ranged spell attack for each On each hit, the target takes 5d6 fire damage.

Mind Sliver. One target in 60ft must succeed on an Intelligence save or take 4d8 psychic damage and subtract 1d4 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.

Dragons Breath. 
(1 every 3 turns) From acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison - Exhale energy in a 20-foot cone. Creatures make a Dexterity save, taking 8d6 damage of the chosen type on a fail, or half as much damage on a success.

========PLAYER MANIPULATION========

Counterspell. Spell fails if 3rd level or lower. If it's a spell of 4th level or higher, make a DC 10 + spell level intelligence check.

Telekinesis. A concentration spell against one creature/object. Targeted creatures roll a strength check against the spell-saving DC. On a fail, the target is moved 30ft in any direction including upwards, and is restrained there. The afflicted creature rolls the check every turn.

 

Polymorph. A concentration spell against one creature. The target rolls a wisdom check against the spell-saving DC. On a fail, the target morphs into a creature equal to or below its level/CR. The target maintains personality and alignment but has replaced HP. If the new HP reaches 0, the form reverts and excess damage is carried over. The target can't cast spells, speak, or use an action that requires hands (if its new form has none).

Command. The caster speaks a one-word command towards a single target. The target rolls a wisdom check against the spell-saving DC. On a fail, the target follows the command. The target cannot be told to harm another person. Examples of commands are Drop (item), Grovel (prone), Approach (max movement straight to caster), Flee (max movement straight from caster).

Dominate Person. In a concentration spell, the caster attempts to charm a single target. The target rolls a wisdom check against the spell-saving DC, with advantage if not currently friendly. On a fail, the caster is telepathically linked to the target and commands them to do a simple task. An example is "attack that creature".

Suggestion. A concentration spell against one creature, including a maximum two-sentence suggestion. The target rolls a wisdom check against the spell-saving DC. On a fail, the target will pursue the suggestion, even if it's self-harmful. The Target can be told to wait to act until a trigger happens. If the target is harmed the spell ends.

Wall of Light. The wall appears in any orientation 60 feet long, 10 feet high, and 5 feet thick blocking line of sight. Each creature in its area must make a Constitution save. On a fail, a creature takes 4d8 radiant damage and is blinded for a round, half damage, and not blinded on a save. The wall can shoot its light with a 60ft range attack and its height shortens by 5 feet.

Actions

Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 4 (1d4 - 2) piercing damage and 9 (2d8) angelic radiant damage

Reactions

Wild Curse. When attacked with a melee weapon, Vivian can grab the attacker and cast a wild magic spell on them.

Legendary Actions

Vivian has a total of 1 legendary action per round. It can be used at any stage in turn order.

Infection (Costs 1 Action). When within 15 ft of a creature Vivian can infect a creature with the mind goblin.  The creature must be able to hear Vivian.

Description

Vivian DuBelle is a pale, lilac-skinned tiefling. Seeming to be in her late 40’s/early 50’s (relative to her lifespan, she is realistically in the 400-500 range), she has curled black hair which falls to just below her shoulder level. She is of elven lineage and has the typical peaked elven ears and a thin/slender build, standing at 5’6’’. She has curling horns which protrude from just above her brow and flow backwards along her skull until they reach the back of her ears, at which point they curl outwards highlighting the points of her ears. These horns are jewelled and ornamented with jewellery and chains. She has stark yellow eyes and can seemingly augment her appearance at will through the use of magic for intimidation/stealth/persuasive purposes

In terms of her attire, she wears flowing golden robes ornamented with symbols of her stature and achievements. The robes flow like a wedding gown, leaving a long trail behind her which flows off into evaporating tendrils of black crawling smoke. Her most prominent feature is the Ivory Beholder mask which adorns her face. At its centre is a stained glass orb which acts as the central eye. The mask separates around her mouth, with a separate armoured piece making the jaw which allows for speech. The 10 eye stalks of the mask protrude from the sides with 5 on each, when not in use, they retract to the side of her head running like ivory ridges to the back of her skull. When in combat they begin to move and spiral organically despite being made from hard ivory, they often flare out like a mane or sunflower as an intimidation tactic.

As for magical equipment, aside from the mask, Vivian is well-funded enough to use various magical items as needed, from rings of spell storing, boots of flying and various staves and wands
