Hyena Form

Pack Tactics. The hyena has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the hyena's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Gnoll Form

Rampage. When the gnoll reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the gnoll can take a bonus action to move up to half its speed and make a bite attack.

Description

Gnolls are cursed with a supernatural hunger that intensifies when food is scarce. Initially, they eat like humans, but after a few days without food, their appetite grows uncontrollably. Within a week, they become violent, able to devour entire households without satisfaction. This unquenchable Hunger makes famines and disasters deadly for gnoll communities, driving them to raid and destroy to survive. As their aggression increases, so does fear and hostility from neighboring races, worsening the situation. The cycle often spirals into an all-out rampage, leading to widespread destruction. Even after the Hunger subsides, survivors face hatred and struggle to rebuild, sometimes choosing to take the form of hyenas to escape the hatred their rampages caused. Helping gnolls could break the cycle, but it rarely happens.
