Bite. Melee Attack Roll: +4, reach 5 ft. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) Piercing damage, and the target has the Poisoned condition until the start of the centipede’s next turn.
I hate bugs but this guy looks pretty silly to me
You want to know how I made these guys terrifying? Players were traversing a swamp on their way to a black dragon lair, they rolled on the random encounter that was 15 of these guys, and I only described them as "Several V-shaped disturbances in the water moving towards you."
Giant centipede is size Small. Just pick it up and rip it in half.
Gained 1 AC and one hit die, increasing the health from 4(1d6+1) to 9(2d6+2).
Bite used to have a DC 11 con save against 10(3d6) poison with paralysis at 0 hit points. Now is an automatic, but temporary poisoned condition.
They nerfed the Giant centipede. Fusion must come in again.
Fusion time! Bring back the DC con save against 10(3d6) poison damage AND the poisoned condition. Simple.
