Posted May 9, 2025Depends on the species. A Pterodactylus has a wingspan of almost 20ft, pteranodons have a wingspan of 12ft for females, and 18ft for males.
The only change that this Pteranodon got was a change in dice. The Bite attack used to be 6(2d4+1) piercing. Now, it's 6(1d8+2) piercing, implying that the Bite is now Dex based instead of Strength based. No fusion for this guy.

Posted May 28, 2025Pteranodons aren’t scientifically dinosaurs, pteranodon is their classification. Dinosaurs can’t fly and aren’t aquatic. But it’s just easier for them to classify as dinosaurs in dnd

Posted Jul 7, 2025first off pteranodons aren't aquatic at all, second off dinosaur is a term that literally means 'terrible lizard' so technically every extinct lizard is a dinosaur and also dinosaurs evolved into birds which can fly!

Posted Aug 25, 2025I love to use these in my modern era campaigns, because there’s nothing like a supersonic pteranodon with wizards riding it to fight a jet fighter
