Traits

Siege Monster. The TrapBear deals double damage to objects and structures.

Adamantine Jaws. The TrapBear's Beartrap works as if made of adamantine. The bite scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

Unrelenting Charge. If the TrapBear moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature, that target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving thrown or be knocked Prone. If the target is Prone, the TrapBear can make one attack with its Claw against it as a bonus action. If the Target succeeds the Saving throw, the TrapBear's remaining movement is spent and it is knocked prone.

Actions

Multiattack. The TrapBear makes two claw attacks, or one Beartrap attack.

Adamantium Claw. Melee Attack Roll: +9, reach 5 ft. Hit: 14 (3d6 + 7) Slashing damage. If the TrapBear scores a critical hit and the target wears nonmagical armor, the armor takes a permanent and cumulative −1 penalty to the AC it offers. Armor reduced to an AC of 10 is destroyed.

Adamantium Beartrap. Melee Attack Roll: +9, reach 10 ft. Hit: 14 (3d10 + 7) Piercing damage, and target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be grappled. If the TrapBear scores a critical hit and the target wears nonmagical armor, the armor takes a permanent and cumulative −1 penalty to the AC it offers. Armor reduced to an AC of 10 is destroyed.

Description

Salvage

Adamantium TrapBears are very rare, but on the chance you find and survive an encounter with one, and successfully have killed it, you have access to anywhere from 60-200 Lbs of Adamantium, waiting to be dislodged from the corpse. Just like its counterpart, this Beast's head can be detached as well, however it will be significantly more difficult (DC 20 Medicine Check).

Lore

DC 15 Investigation Check: With the earlier TrapBears being seen as successful experiments, the Artificers and Alchemists creating these beasts may have spent much time and effort into creating the Adamantium TrapBears, better in almost every way than their smaller counterparts. Larger, Stronger, more durable. Given the blood stained on the Beast's "mouth" however... perhaps these plans of a Bio-Mechanical war machine backfired.
