Phantom Shroud: At the start of each of its turns, spectral shadows swirl in a 20-foot radius around the Leviathan. Creatures that start their turn in the area take 27 (6d8) necrotic damage and must succeed on a DC 22 Intelligence saving throw or have their movement halved until the end of their next turn.
Devour Essence: As a bonus action, the Leviathan drains magical energy from a spell or magic effect within 120 feet. The effect ends instantly, and the Leviathan regains 50 hit points. If it ends a spell of 7th level or higher, it regains 100 hit points instead.
Ethereal Jaunt: The Leviathan can shift partially into the Ethereal Plane and back as a bonus action, moving up to 60 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Legendary Resistance (3/Day): If the Leviathan fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
