Fire Form. The Zieti can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Any creature that touches the Zieti or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 4 (1d8) fire damage. In addition, the Zieti can enter a hostile creature’s space and stop there. The first time it enters a creature’s space on a turn, that creature takes 4 (1d8) fire damage.
With a touch, the Zieti can also ignite flammable objects that aren’t being worn or carried (no action required).
Illumination. The Zieti sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.
Multiattack. Zieti makes two attacks using its Talon action.
Talon. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6+2) bludgeoning damage and 3 fire damage.
Fiery Slam. The Zieti dashes towards a creature within 30 ft. in an attempt to slam against them. The Zieti makes a melee weapon attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 5 (1d6+2) bludgeoning damage and 9 (2d8) fire damage. The target also has to make a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone for one turn.
Flaming Shine. Zieti unleashes a bright, burning light. All creatures in a 20 ft. area centered on the Ziete have to make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a fail, they take 14 (4d6) fire damage or half as much on a success.
Scorching Flare (Recharge 6). Zieti unleashes a scorching burst of energy. All creatures within 30 ft. of the Zieti have to make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, the creatures take 16 (3d10) fire damage or half as much on a success. Afterwards, the next instance of fire damage dealt by the Zieti is halved.
Description
Zeiti are intelligent tropical animals with an Affinity over fire. This control over the element keeps them safe during infancy and is how they hunt. By blowing themselves up, they crack open the shells of unsuspecting crustaceans in a wonderful light show.
