Angelic Radiance. The Virtue sheds bright light in a 10 foot radius, and dim light for an additional 10 feet. This light is considered sunlight.
Angelic Weapons. The Virtue’s weapon attacks are magical. When the Virtue hits with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 4d10 radiant damage (included in the attack).
Divine Awareness. The Virtue knows if it hears a lie.
Innate Spellcasting. The Virtue’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 20). The Virtue can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: detect evil and good, command
3/day each: control winds, dispel evil and good, flame strike, raise dead, freedom of movement
1/day each: commune, control weather, holy aura, sunburst
Magic Resistance. The Virtue has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Multiattack. The Virtue makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its talons.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (4d6 + 7) slashing damage plus 22 (4d10) radiant damage, and the Virtue can choose to grapple the target (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Virtue can't use its talons on another target.
Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 25 (4d8 + 7) piercing damage plus 22 (4d10) radiant damage.
Healing Touch (4/Day). The Virtue touches another creature. The target magically regains 30 (6d8 + 3) hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness.
Shimmering Winds (recharge 5-6). The Virtue beats its wings with purpose, and churning ribbons of radiant energy carried by magical wind surround it. Each creature within 15 ft. of the Virtue must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 13 (2d6 + 6) bludgeoning damage plus 38 (7d10) radiant damage and be knocked prone, taking half damage and not being knocked prone on a successful save. If the Virtue has a rider or riders, it can choose whether or not each one of them is immune to Shimmering Winds. The Virtue can then fly up to half its flying speed.
Description
Also referred to as Dawnrays, Virtues of Gautama resemble massive, white eagles glowing with the power of the sun. They serve Gautama, the great Bird-headed Crown Spirit of Dawn and Dusk, Victory in Battle, the Skies, Leadership, and Conquest. They have in the past been summoned by Priesthood’s of Gautama as well as White Magic Cabbals for certain ends, and sometimes even act as patrons for Celestial Warlocks.
