Traits

Evasion. If the operative succeeds on a Dex save for half damage, they take none; on a failure, half.

Uncanny Dodge. When hit by an attack they can see, they can halve the damage once per round.

Tactical Reflex Conditioning. When the operative rolls initiative and is not surprised, it may immediately move up to half its speed.

Duelist’s Focus. If the operative starts its turn within 5 ft. of exactly one hostile creature, its first attack that turn has advantage.

Actions

Multiattack. The operative makes three melee attacks.

Twin Sabers. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Once per turn, the operative may deal an additional 7 (2d6) damage as precision training.

Throwing Knife. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target.
Hit: 6 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Combat Stimulant (1/Short Rest). As a bonus action, the operative injects a stimulant granting advantage on attack rolls and Dexterity saving throws until the end of its next turn, but takes 7 (2d6) damage at the start of its following turn.

Shadow Feint (Tactical Feint). The operative steps with blinding speed, gaining advantage on the next melee attack this turn and moving up to 10 ft. without provoking opportunity attacks.

Reposition. The operative takes the Dash or Disengage action as a bonus action.

Reactions

Counter Reflex. When a creature within 5 ft. of the operative makes a melee attack against one of the operative’s allies, the operative may make one melee attack against that creature.

Description

Virin Blade Operatives are the Empire’s close-quarters specialists — bodyguards, interrogators, and assassins who embody the doctrine of absolute control. Trained from youth in the Doctrine of Precision, they learn to end combat before it becomes chaos. Every breath, strike, and movement is timed to the heartbeat of their opponents.
