Hey Folks!
I'm so excited to say that as of today, your combat in the combat tracker is automatically saved. The next time you run a game and decide to leave it on a cliffhanger, you don't have to worry about recording everything in the combat tracker. We're saving it automatically.
To resume that combat, you can see a new "Resume" button on your list of encounters.
For those following along, I know this has been a long time coming. We're hoping this is the first in a string of improvements that you will see to the Combat Tracker and the Encounter Builder of the coming months. Thanks for hanging in there.
If you have feedback, we want to hear it! The best way to give it to us is through our new Encounters Feedback Portal. If you don't see your idea among those available to vote for, you can submit a new idea at the top.
Looks like this hasn't rolled out to everyone yet? Not seeing it in my encounter/combats.

I also don't have access to the save/resume feature. I've really been looking fwd to it too.
Aw, ditto! I rushed over to the tracker to try this out but...wah wah...no saves yet. I'll be so excited when this feature is active! Push this to production, oh mighty Gods of Dev!
The combat tracker version hasn't changed from v0.2.17, which it was last week, so I guess this change hasn't been deployed yet?
Working for me now. Version at 0.2.19
Looking forward to wen that is 1. something.

Hey Folks...
This was my fault. I published it 22 hours too early. Sorry about that. But... it IS live now. Go check it out!
Excited to hear your thoughts!
Did I miss it or is there no visual feedback when you click save?
Wonderful addition!
When you click save you will see the timestamp under the encounter name change to "Last save was seconds ago."
Awesome news!
This update is more than just a save point. It includes letter identifiers to monsters that are the same ie. 3 Goblins are now listed as goblin a goblin b goblin c. This is bigger to me than the save part. Great work.
Now you can adjust hp BEFORE the session. Yay!
This was the case before the update.
It not only lets you save but also edit and in-progress encounter, meaning you can now add/remove monsters when you want! Combat tracker will remember the turn/round, and HP of monsters that were in combat :D This is amazing!
Yes, this is a very welcome improvement. I wish I could just remove a monster from the tracker itself, but still this is a great step forward.
HI I don't believe this was the case if you selected each monster as an individual. I add them one by one so they get there own initiative adn now they also get a letter tag.
Absolutely love the changes, this has been such a awesome tool and have used it so much. The only thing which has thrown me is that I don't seem to be able to remove additional characters when building the encounters, which has made it difficult to plan for a three player one-shot I'm running soon.
Great improvement!!! Thank you!!!!
When you add something manually, let's say an NPC named 'Bob' - is there a way to manually remove them or do you have to delete the whole encounter and start again?
This was the case before the update.
Kinda, but if you added say 3x goblins as one block and 2x goblins as another block, they would show as:
Goblin A, Goblin B, Goblin C and then Goblin A, Goblin B
Now it shows:
Goblin A, Goblin B, Goblin C and then Goblin D, Goblin E
Massive improvement and something that is incredibly useful for me :) )
