Greetings Everyone!
We're happy to announce the Digital Dice Alpha is now live on the Character Sheet for subscribers only.
These digital dice will help you reduce the math you have to do when playing D&D. We encourage everyone to give them a roll and tell us how they feel!
If you'd like to turn off Dice rolling on the character sheet for any reason, you can click on your character dropdown and toggle the Digital Dice off.
As a thank you, you will also receive a free set of Old School dice that celebrates our roots. You can activate them by going to the My Dice page under "Collections" on the top nav.
If you'd like to learn more about how to use the dice or to give us feedback, visit our Digital Dice Feedback Forum.
Thanks all. Happy rolling!

Question. For DM's who use the My Encounters, are there any plans to allow the My Dice to be used there for Monsters?
Smite and sneak attack etc. could use links to roll.
A few features and milestones I'd personally like to see:
Otherwise, looks good so far!
Performance on Chrome was very poor for me at first. I figured it was my extensions; however, upon disabling them it did not improve.
Performance on FFox was much better on the outset.
However, I killed the Chrome process and restarted it, and upon reloading - performance was much better. :)
Will there be an option to digitally weight your dice?
About showing the rolls to the DM, that would be awesome. I'm currently having my players use Beyond20 to send my rolls to Roll20.net. But if I could have it integrated onto D&D Beyond that would be awesome. Need a way to show monster rolls to players as well.
I've compared the dice rolling on my mobile phone (iPhone XR, Chrome 81.0.4044.124) with my computer (Windows 10 2004, Chrome 81.0.4044.138, Edge 44.19041.1.0).
I noticed a significant difference.
It's not greatly annoying, but I can imagine that this would make certain people think twice about using this feature.
This is great! Sometimes I have to look up monsters or NPCs on the fly and then roll a skill check or attack/damage. In this case I do not have time to add the monster or NPC to my encounters or the combat tracker. Thus, I would love if you could add this feature to monster stat block pages as well. It would definitely speed up the game for any DM who do a lot of random encounters and improvisation. Keep on with the good work!
yeeeeeeeeeeeees
I must say that I love this feature.
I would suggest that they add the dice rolling sound to it. :)
That's a great idea... I use My Encounters and integration there would save a lot of time. But... before that... PLEASE can PC hitpoints be added?? :)
These are pretty awesome. Only negative I've experienced is the results sometime hide dice, not a big deal. I'd like to see the ability to move the result popups around the screen, either by quadrant, or better yet, ad hoc placement.
Thanks!!
Very nice!
A few things:
Some suggestions: Create a place to save rolls with modifiers, like my flametongue longsword so I can roll 1d8 magic slashing +2d6 fire +7. I know I can manually click all those, but then I still mentally have to add 7 and it would be nicer to have a little widget that rolls that set (especially if it can separate out the damage types with a simple checkbox or something). A dashboard with button that you can manually program would be nice. Also a toggle for advantage and disadvantage before rolling, like for my barbarian's initiative. Keep it up!
Dope man this should help with less germs shared, good going
This is BS, your other advertisement says these will work on DND BEYOND... but they have not since I subscribed.
It's still in alpha, meaning it's not finished, meaning not every feature is available.
Can Cleric's not subclass as other clerics?
As a budding DM, it would be awesome to be able to click on Monster stats in my purchased digital Monster Manual to have dice rolls rolled; will this ever happen?
Can I just suggest adding Natural 20 effects. Something that happens when rolling 20s or 1s would be awesome
