Homebrew Unholy Deva Species Details
Whereas tieflings have fiendish blood in their veins, Devas are the creations of celestial beings. These folk generally appear as glorious humans with lustrous hair, flawless skin, feathered wings, and piercing eyes. Devas often attempt to pass as humans in order to right wrongs and defend goodness on the Material Plane without drawing undue attention to their celestial heritage. They strive to fit into society, although they usually rise to the top, becoming revered leaders and honorable heroes. Unholy devas are the creations and servants of evil deities, therefore the way they view good and evil might be different than the way a holy deva would. Preserving goodness to them means bringing judgment and wrath down upon the good doers and preserving the evil hearts of those who choose that path.

Unholy Deva Traits
As a Deva, you have these special traits.Celestial Revelation
When you reach character level 3, you can transform as a Bonus Action using one of the options below (choose the option each time you transform). The transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it (no action required). Once you transform, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
Once on each of your turns before the transformation ends, you can deal extra damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra damage equals your Proficiency Bonus, and the extra damage’s type is either Necrotic for the Aspect of Bhaal and the Aspect of Myrkul or Psychic for the Aspect of Bane.
Here are the transformation options:
Aspect of Bhaal: You gains your veins to glow with dark power, and shadow to flit around you. Any time you score a critical hit, you role the damage dice 3 times (instead of 2). Also, any hit against a creature that is surprised is a critical hit.
Aspect of Bane: You cause your eyes briefly become pools of darkness, and maddening echoes of spirits flit around you. The first time you deal damage to a creature each round, the target must make a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 plus your Charisma modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or have the frightened condition until the end of your next turn. While frightened this way, the targets speed is zero, and it cannot make opportunity attacks or take reactions.
Aspect of Myrkul: You cause dark icy winds to swirl around you. All undead within 10ft of you also gain the benefit of your celestial revelation. As a magic action, you can cause one undead within 60ft of you to make a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 plus your Charisma modifier and Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the target must obey your commands for the next 24 hours, or until you use your Celestial Revelation again. An undead whose challenge rating is equal to or greater than your character's level is immune to this effect. Attempting to control an undead ends your Celestial Revelation.
Celestial Resistance
You have resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.
Celestial Build
Your massive build is so massive that you can wield two handed weapons that you are proficient with in one hand.
