Homebrew (E.O.H.) Ghostborn Species Details
about being a Ghostborn:
a member of the Ghostborn are of any species but he or she was a ghost or a spirit that merged with a soulless body (that soulless body can be as young as a baby's body) in order to have a body and become a living creature. a Ghostborn can also be a spirit or ghost that merged with a biological or mechanical form it created in order to get a body and become a living creature. Ghostborn creatures use their hands, feet, and their minds to attack with punches, hand movement caused wind strikes through the air, and hand movement caused explosive wind strikes. they also have the ability to use Psychic Step, Limited Shapechange, Produce Seed, Mix Seed An Item, Cure ailment, and Point Telepathy. Ghostborn are also resistant to disease, viruses, and poisons. a Ghostborn can fly like peter pan, can walk, can run, and can swim as fast as it's walking speed due to flying through the water.
Note: using your flying speed can easily be dangerous because your dungeon master can rationally say, "the wind is too strong for you, roll a 1d6 to see if you get hurt or not when you hit the ground." when you try to use your flying speed. so just because a species gives you a flying speed, it doesn't mean you should use your flying speed. flying speed and burrowing speeds are overly powerful speeds but they both can be super dangerous for you as a D&D player if you use them in a D&D session. however story wise flying speeds and burrowing speeds can be needed in certain D&D campaigns (an example is that if you were doing a D&d campaign based on peter pan movie, you would need your players to have a flying speed in order for your players to get from London to Neverland.).
Legends of the Ghostborn:
one legend says that intelligent spirits created planets and made biological or mechanical forms to become the first creatures on those planets. another legend says that there exists a secret cult of Ghostborn beings that once ruled an ancient earth city called, "Atlantis". and other earth legends tell of a bunch of Ghostborn that were once revered as gods but then those Ghostborn beings caused a great flood and then existed as a secret cult that secretly observe and protect humanity from extinction.
(E.O.H.) Ghostborn Traits
Ghostborn Traitswalking speed
you have a innate walking speed of at least 30 feet.
flying speed
you fly like disney's peter pan flies except that you don't need to believe in fairies, so you have an innate flying speed of 30 feet.
warning note: it can be very dangerous for you to use a flying speed in D&d since it is overly powerful and because it can be the easy answer to everything. but there is a catch to using flying speed and that is because it is overly powerful, dungeon masters can and most likely will, easily, cause you to get hurt or flung somewhere else by using it unless flying speed is important story wise. there is a reason planes have engines , so keep this in mind when choosing to use a flying character and know that flying speeds are more like cosmetic than useful.
swim speed
you can move through liquid as if you were using your flying speed, so you have a swimming speed of at least 30 feet.
your main species type
you choose your main species type when you make your character and you type your choice into your character's background notes of your character sheet. you do not change your main species type unless your party's dungeon master says otherwise.
main attacks
you can equip either (E.N.H.) Hard Punch v.1 or (E.N.H.) Hard Kick v.2 as your main melee attack and (E.N.H.) Wind Cut as your main ranged attack.
special abilities 1
you use a slot to use either Psychic Step or Limited Shapechange. you have three slots per long rest.
Psychic Step:
As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.
Limited Shapechange:
as an action, you can either shapeshift into a younger version of you or an older version of you or a creature the same size as you. you return to your original form after 1 hour or until you use another ability or spell. while shapeshifted, you have the same abilities and stats as your normal form.
Special Abilities 2
you use a slot to use either Produce Seed or Mix Seed An Item. you have three slots per long rest.
Produce seed:
using one action, you make an magical seed out of two of the same things that are magically combined (example: magically combining some kind of tomato soup with some of that same kind of tomato soup results in a magic seed that produces a liquid replica of that kind of tomato soup used to create that magical seed.)
Mix Seed An Item:
using 1 action, you combine a magical seed (a magical seed made by by using Produce Seed) with another item to make something else or that item better (for example you combine a magical seed that produces water with a bottle to make a water bottle that produces an potentially endless supply of water.). the thing made is non magical unless your dungeon master says otherwise.

Point Telepathy:
as a action you can either for 1 hour, communicate telepathically to 1 creature you do not know or communicate telepathically with an amount of your party members equal to your strength modifier. in both choices the creature you telepathically communicate with understands what you are saying and can communicate telepathically back. if you communicate telepathically with a creature you do not know, that creature may not think you are actually communicating with it and that creature may ignore the telepathic communication. the second choice of point telepathy can be used as a group chat ability.
