Homebrew (E.O.H.) Annunaki (member of The Holy Watchers) Species Details

Note: This Homebrew Species is an old version and a new version of this species will be eventually created by me with the help of expert dungeon masters. hense the prefix (E.O.H.) as part of this species meaning Enoch's Old Homebrew.

 

 

about your character as a member of the annunaki:

a good alignment based, two legged angel that joins your party. he or she  can turn into a form of a human with military like equipment that were equipment that your angel form has. you cannot fly while in human form and you can only equip things while not in your angel form. you have two forms that you can switch between, a two legged human form and your natural two legged angel form. when using this species ignore the stats and attacks of D&D monster angels when making a character that uses this species but keep the elemental resistance, the type of elemental damage the D&D monster angel uses, what type of angel melee attacks it uses, and whether it has a swim speed and a burrowing speed and a flying speed and a climbing speed other than it's walking speed. using this species however, you are medium size when in angel form and you are medium size when in human form.

history of the annunaki who were members of the Holy Watchers:

a long time ago some good hearted angels that wanted to co exist with humans, elves, and other mortals decided to live among humans, elves, and other mortals by changing their form to look like humans. these good hearted angels call themselves The Holy Watchers in order to not be confused with the other angels that come to earth temporarily or are evil fallen angels which heroes encounter and these Holy Watchers are mammalian and they are omnivores but they are not evil yet they stay on earth which set them apart from the good angels that temporarily stay on the mortal plane of existence and the evil fallen angels.

an ancient legend of the Holy watchers:

legends tell of a bunch of angels that chose to live among humans and some of them helped advance human nations.

lifestyle of the Annunaki species:

the angels don't flaunt their angellic forms but they mainly stay in human form since their human form is more pleasing to most of the eyes of elves, humans, and dragonborn than their angellic forms. the angel species naturally care about mortals and are more kind to mortals, so beings that are like humans more easily become friends with the members of the angel species. members of the angel species can be female or male.

reproduction of angels:

through the process of a female angel rebirthing someone, mortal souls are reborn as angels. female angels nurse baby angels just like women nurse babies.

habitat, favorite jobs, and favorite things to do of the dragomen species:

angels like any place the mortals live in but but they prefer to live where what there are good natured beings that they can talk to. Flame angels are angels who are usually soldiers, mercenaries, factory workers, and blacksmiths since they love working hard on making physical things and using fire. Water angels are dock workers, sailors, ship captains, and fishermen since they love areas that are always wet. ice angels are police, scientists, spies, and lawyers since they love studying things and they love the cold. Electric angels are power plant specialists, engineers, mechanics, and inventors since they love tinkering and fixing things and they like electricity and lightning. garden angels are gardeners, farmers, medical doctors, nurses, paid babysitters, surgeons, chefs, cooks, and dentists because they like cooking food, growing crops, and healing people. Rock angels are construction workers, miners, offshore drilling platform workers, concrete plant workers, and subway workers because they love working underground, they love building things, and they love working on rocks and minerals. wind angels are athletes, fast food workers, mail delivery workers, food delivery drivers, animal catchers, and package delivery drivers because they like doing things as fast as the wind. holy angels prefer to do jobs that mostly have you work outside and in the daytime since they love being in the light of the sun. Dark angels prefer doing jobs that are inside a structure and at nighttime because they love being in the dark.

 

(E.O.H.) Annunaki (member of The Holy Watchers) Traits

Flame Angel traits:

Angellic Flight

you can fly up to 30 feet of distance when in dragon form instead of using your walking speed. you cannot fly while you are in your human form.

Lightbringer

while you are in angel form, you glow and brighten up the area around you but your angellic glow does not damage anything. brightens up an area of 35 feet. but while you are in angel form, this trait gives advantage to other creatures in spotting you (example: a creature can roll an extra die when trying to find you if you are in angel form). you also have to roll an extra die for disadvantage in stealth even if you already have to roll for disadvantage in stealth if you are in angel form. area is brightened up to 30 feet around you as if it were daylight while you are in angel form. the area at 30 feet to 60 feet from you while you are in angel form, are brightened up to near darkness levels of light.

Changeling Ability

as a angel, you have the ability to change from a human into a angel and from a angel into a human at will but it takes one of your turns in battle to do so mid battle. when you change form, your attacks change according to what weapons you have equipped, however, your other stats remain the same. also, you cannot fly while in your human form but you can fly in your angel form.

Angelic Weapons

when you are in angel form, some of your weapons can do a type of non magical elemental damage instead of piercing, bludgeoning, and slashing damage but they only have the range of that weapon (example: while in your human form a dagger does 1d6 slashing damage but in your angel form you do 1d6 fire damage with that same range of that dagger.). any weapon you acquire gains this ability. but the non magical but elemental attack does does a certain type of elemental damage determined by what element you used as an angel in the angelic military (example: if you were a flame wielding angel, you would do fire damage when you are attacking with weapons while you are an angel.).

Elemental Resistance

you are resistant to an element in your human form and your angel form. your elemental resistance depends on what type of angel you were as noted in the notes of the background tab of your character sheet. (for example: if you were a water angel then you would be resistant to water attacks and you would manually input that you are resistant to water based attacks.)

Elemental Disadvantage

you are vulnerable to a certain element that is the opposite of what you are resistant to. manually add what is the opposite of the resistance gained from the Elemental Resistance trait of the annunaki species to your character sheet. (example: if you are a fire annunaki and so, you have fire resistance, then you have the vulnerability to cold.)
