Sometimes even crazy arcane casters get tired of magic flailing about as "an obnoxious volatile goo".
When that time comes about, they usually do the only thing they find logical, a temper-tantrum of research, ingredient gathering and forcing too much power through a localized flux-point in weave space-time. The result is a relatively time-consuming spellformula that flattens out the weave in a horribly inefficient maner, leaving the area void of magical influences for a time.

You concentrate on smoothing out the weave in an area, removing current magical influences within it.

Choose one 30 foot spherical area within range and roll 4d6 + your spellcasting modifier + your spellcaster levels rounded down (+1 per level in full-caster classes (Bard, Druid, Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock and Wizard), +1 per 2 levels in half-caster classes (Artificer, Paladin and Ranger) and +1 per 3 levels in ⅓-caster classes (Arcane Trickster, Eldritch Knight and Order of the Profane Soul).
The total determine the amount of levels you can dispel, starting with the lowest level spell and subtracting the dispelled spells from the total before moving on to the next spell, a spell's level must be equal to or less than the remaining total for a spell to be dispelled.

Magical items are also affected by this spell, depending on their rarity:

  • Common magical items count as a cantrip (0th level spell) and are permanently dispelled.
  • Uncommon magical items count as 3 spell level and are dispelled for 24 hours
  • Rare magical items count as 6 spell levels and are dispelled for 8 hours
  • Very rare magical items count as 9 spell levels and are dispelled for 1 hour
  • Legendary magical items count as a 12 spell levels and are dispelled for 1 minute
  • Artifacts count as 15 spell levels and are dispelled for 1 round

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you add another 2d6+2 for each slot level above 6th.

Weave-Ripping:
If a single area is targeted by this spell cast at 9th level at least once every day for a year, that area becomes a magic dead-zone, as the very fabric of the weave is torn appart.
Any magical items, spells, objects or other effects cease to function while inside the area, unless they specify that they work even in anti-magic fields.
If a spell or other magical effect cannot path around the magic dead-zone, it fizzles and fails to affect the target.
