You bring your hands together in front of you, focusing on the diamond that is now floating on its own just beyond your palms. Arcane strands of a primal nature radiate from your chest, down your arms, and into the diamond. The air begins to crackle and pop, solid material begins to amass, and heat itself into the molten fire of lava.
You launch the ball of molten death at your selected target within 300 feet. Upon impact, the lava explodes in a 5-foot radius dealing 2d6 damage to anyone hit by the cascade of liquid fire. Increasing by 2d6 per spell level used. The primary target takes 8d8 fire damage, increasing by 2d8 per spell level 5th and above.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 2d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
