Three thin stone shards appear around you in space. Until the spell ends, the shards move with you and circle around your form, shifting position to intervene with attacks made against you. You can use your action to dismiss the floating shards.
Each time a creature targets you with an attack during the spell's duration, roll a d20 to determine whether the attack instead hits one of your shards.
If you have three shards, you must roll a 6 or higher to change the attack's target to a shard. With two shards, you must roll an 8 or higher. With one shard, you must roll an 11 or higher.
A shard's AC equals 10 + your Constitution modifier. If an attack hits a shard, the shard is destroyed. Shards can also be destroyed by area effects exceeding 5 points of damage.
If a shard is destroyed by a melee attack, the attacker must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 1d8 slashing damage, or half as much on a successful save.
At Higher Levels. Each spell slot level above 2nd increases the shattering damage by 1d8.

I'd originally created this as a wizard spell. Forgot to add Sorcerer as an available class, hence the 2.0 update.
