A sphere of shimmering force encloses a creature or object of Large size or smaller within range. An unwilling creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is enclosed for the duration.
Nothing--not physical objects, energy, or other spell effects--can pass through the barrier, in or out, though a creature in the sphere can breathe there. The sphere is immune to all damage, and a creature or object inside can't be damaged by attacks or effects originating from outside, nor can a creature inside the sphere damage anything outside it.
The sphere is weightless and just large enough to contain the creature or object inside. An enclosed creature can use its action to push against the sphere's walls and thus roll the sphere at up to half the creature's speed. Similarly, the globe can be picked up and moved by other creatures.
A disintegrate spell targeting the globe destroys it without harming anything inside it.

Absolutely safe capsule.
Sounds great! Does this also protect against anti-magic fields or dispel magic?
Yes does this prevent dispel magic?
This prevents Dispel Magic targetting creature inside the sphere, but Dispel Magic can be used to dispel the sphere.
Legally, Antimagic Field cannot protrude into already cast Resilient Sphere, because Antimagic Field supresses magical effects only within the field, and the field cannot protrude into the sphere.
If the Antimagic Field is already cast, if at any point the Resilient Sphere overlaps with the field, the sphere is no longer "closed"; the overlapped section is supressed. This can be done by moving the sphere into Antimagic Field.
Trying to find an answer to the online, maybe the community can help...
You are in a big fight, a lot of enemies, and the wizard Sphere a target in the middle of the fight. If someone is strong enough could a player pick up the sphere and use it as a makeshift weapon? The person inside would probably not be hurt unless you add falling damage or something if he is being shook about inside it, but I read this as a hard shell that one could use to bludgeon with.
In that same mindset, could you put an ally in it and have a strong PC toss it to get someone across gaps or something?
Does that mean if someone is concentrating on a spell that effects others but gets put in here, their concentration spell no longer effects their target?
Great way to roll down a mountain, or do a barrel in Niagara Falls maneuver.
Looks like a hamster ball to me.
Yes, I am also interested in the answer to Destiny_Corrupt question. Does anybody know?
I don't think this messes with concentration like that - concentration is just to keep a remote effect going, it doesn't continuously send the effect from the caster to the destination point. For example, this spell has a range of 30ft, but after you cast it you can move away an unlimited distance. You don't have to meet all requirements to cast the spell to concentrate - so while this breaks a requirement to cast a spell into the outside of it, it shouldn't break concentration.
Stop giving the spells different names, or make it possible to turn off. Please. I don’t want this nonexistent spell to keep popping up whenever I try to look at a list of spells.
This spell is very existant, not sure what the issue is exactly.
You see, this is the Basic Rules version of Otiluke’s Resilient Sphere, a spell in the PHB. However, even though I have the PHB, this spell keeps showing up. Alongside Otiluke’s Resilient Sphere.
Question, the sphere blocks spell effect from going in or out, does that mean the person inside couldn’t teleport out?
well, it says nothing, including spell effects, so I would assume so. particularly the part where it says NOTHING can pass through it.
i'd rule they could actually, since it isn't the spell effect itself travelling through the barrier, it's the spell effect instantaneously transporting you to your destination

Improvised Weapon it sounds like.
The sphere is weightless, so probably not a good weapon
So i saw this and got a vision in my mind that goes a lil something like this.. So your artificer sets up a catapult, and then spheres the target, moves it onto the catapult and fires, drops concentration and SPLAT for the win!!..
Additional Flavour: if needed have a wizard "Reduce" Huge down to Large, then follow steps above..lol =)
This spell lets you target objects that are being worn or carried, but what happens if you do?
