You manifest a minor wonder, a sign of supernatural power, within range. You create one of the following magical effects within range:
- Your voice booms up to three times as loud as normal for 1 minute.
- You cause flames to flicker, brighten, dim, or change color for 1 minute.
- You cause harmless tremors in the ground for 1 minute.
- You create an instantaneous sound that originates from a point of your choice within range, such as a rumble of thunder, the cry of a raven, or ominous whispers.
- You instantaneously cause an unlocked door or window to fly open or slam shut.
- You alter the appearance of your eyes for 1 minute.
If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to three of its 1-minute effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
Itz kinda cool...
this spell should be added to teifling's spell arsenal immediately yet however it doesn't get added to my spell arsenal and then I can't even get to it when I try to add it to my spells
Why isn't this added to the spell listing , I have unable to add this to my character.
The duration is inaccurate. In the PHB and the SRD the duration for Thaumaturgy is "Up to 1 minute" not just "1 minute."
If I want to scare someone using this do I get advantage?
I know it's late but it depends on your DM, what affect you use and how you use it.
Maybe you get advantege on intimidation rolls?
Yes, absolutely, I would say getting advantage on intimidation rolls is the precise primary purpose of this cantrip.
It's a "behold my power" cantrip.
I have the same problem, My DM says just make a note on the side that you do have it.
Noice
@Opake You can dismiss any of the effects early as an action, hence up to 1 minute.
I'll give it a watch :)
this should be a warlock spell, seeing as they get their powers from a supernatural being
For those who say they can’t add it, do you have a cleric? It is a cleric spell.
Great video!
We also made an article to collect a bunch of clever ideas in which to use the Thaumaturgy cantrip:

Loved this article, it's definitely full of some creative uses of this spell!
Isn't it a Tiefling (race) cantrip, not a Cleric (class) cantrip?
@Spades3 It's both
It's both
Could Thaumaturgy be used to deal slight fire damage if used on fire to flicker if in the face of an enemy? Asking... for a friend
