Your skin emits visible cold air and produces small ice crystals form on it. Anything your skin touches freezes and ices over, this ice has regular ice properties, this ice can be dispelled with magic, but otherwise cannot be melted or broken by physical means. This ice dissipates after 1 hour (if not on a living target).

   

**If you use this on a living target:**

Ice forms on the affected region of any target you manage to touch. 

Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 Cold damage + spell modifiers along with conditions listed below, and will have -2 on all action rolls for the rest of the encounter. *If spell is used more than once on the same target before the effect dissipates you deal regular unarmed attack damage and will have no effect or modifier applied .

The spell's damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).

Conditions:

  • You deal +2 cold damage per die if the target is wearing No Armor, or If you attack an unprotected region. (roll disadvantage if this would be a difficult action).
  • You deal -3 cold damage per die if the target is wearing cold resistant gear/equipment.
