You spawn a 30 ft. Square board within range. While a creature is on the board, it's movement is changed. If a creature doesn't have a class, determine which class it is closest to, then see what movement type it would be.
Pawns; (Fighter, Bard, Rogue, Wizard) Pawns can move in only one direction willingly each turn.
Rook; (Barbarian, Druid, Blood Hunter) Rooks can move only horizontally and vertically willingly each turn.
Knight; (Paladin, Ranger, Artificer) Knights can move only in an L movement willingly each turn.
Bishop; (Cleric, Monk, Sorcerer, Warlock) Bishops can move only diagonally willingly each turn.
In a battle, each fighting party can choose 1 King and 1 Queen when the board spawns, which override other movement types. Kings have their movement speeds halved, but can move freely in any direction. Queens can move in any direction, but have -4 AC.

Probably unbalanced, but that's sort of the point.
