You create a magical Iron Maiden that forces the truth out of the target. Until the spell ends, a creature that is targeted by the spell for the first time must make a CHARISMA saving throw. On a failed save, a creature must speak the truth or take 1d8 psychic damage while the Iron Maiden tightens. On a failed save the spell works as if it is only a localized Zone of Truth and the Maidens spikes vanish. You know whether the target succeeds or fails on its saving throw.

 

For each spell slot cast above 2nd level add another 1d8 to the total damage a creature takes from not speaking truth.
