As an action, the player calls upon 1d4 wisp(s) to manipulate the elements of fire, wind, earth, or water; once the wisp(s) are summoned, they are commanded as a free action. The wisps are more than willing to help the player but they are timid in nature so they are incapable of directly harming any entity. The wisps will persist up to 8 hours as long as they feel safe; otherwise, they will flee.
Wisp of Summer: The Wisp of Summer has mastery over fire and fire manipulation; therefore, they may produce flames, ignite objects, snuff out fire-based light sources, and manipulate non-magical fire within 30 feet.
Wisp of Fall: The Wisp of Fall has mastery over wind and wind manipulation; therefore, they may manipulate wind to displace objects or entities and create sensory effects involving wind such as the rustling of leaves or the howl of fierce wind.
Wisp of Spring: The Wisp of Spring has mastery over earth manipulation and vegetation; therefore, they may manipulate earth or stone to either displace a 5 feet cube, write a message or illustration, cause plants and seeds to blossom, or clear difficult nonmagical terrain involving the earth or vegetation.
Wisp of Winter: The Wisp of Winter may manipulate water, ice, even moisture in the air, to shape water and ice into various shapes and predict the weather in the immediate area for the next 24 hours. The wisp can also tap into the moisture in the area to provide drinking water; however, the environment dictates the water provided.
If the player has summoned at least 4 wisps, Whispering Wisps can perform 2 more functions:
Faery Light: All of the wisps concentrate into a tight orbit and produce light for the player. The light can be any color from the rainbow including white and shine brightly up to 15 feet away and an additional 15 feet as dim light; the radius of the light is increased by 5 feet for every additional wisp past the fourth up to a total of 10 wisps.
Faery Festival: All of the wisps work together to aid the player in survival related checks; the player may add +1 to their next survival skill check for every summoned wisp when used. The wisps may also be consulted to inform the player of nearby edible food and drinkable water and may aid in constructing a campsite for the player.
