Deception

You place an illusion on an object or potion you touch so that divination spells reveal false information about it. The target must not be carried or worn by another creature.

False Aura. You change the way the target appears to spells and magical effects, such as detect magic, that detect magical auras. You can make a nonmagical object appear magical, or a magical object appear nonmagical.  You can make the false magic apparent to any creature that handles the item by spending an extra hour and adding a third material component, a solid silver mirror with a border of eye agates costing at least 100 gp for materials and workmanship, which is reduced by the spell to a powder that must be sprinkled on the target.  If the border is made of two rows of eye agates alternated with blue, purple and green moonstones (raising the cost of the mirror to 500 gp), and a command word is constantly chanted over the mirror and target, an effect like faerie fire is created on the target, with the following differences: if the command word is uttered once over the target, the glow disappears; a second repetition will bring it back at the level of faerie fire; a third will increase the brightness of the glow to that of a torch.

I don't know why the spell level scaling isn't showing up in the text I can see once I've saved it, but I'll put it in here too ... sorry if this duplicates.

If cast using a 2nd level spell slot, the caster can select a specific school of magic that the false aura created will seem to be.

If cast using a 3rd level spell slot, the caster can add a second school of magic s/he knows, OR can modify the spell so that in addition to having a false magic aura, the target will appear exactly like a specific potion or magic item of the same form (dagger, wand, decanter, whatever it is) which the caster has actually possessed or closely examined in the past

If cast using a 5th level spell slot, the target will appear exactly like a specific potion or magic item of the same form (dagger, wand, decanter, whatever it is) which the caster has actually possessed or closely examined in the past; AND, when used, will create a [Tooltip Not Found] of the effects the user would expect from using the item they believe it to be in the way they used it. (and since the system isn't recognizing the exact same tooltip I just used three times in this description and it worked just fine, I'll repeat that it's a major illusion of those effects that is created)
