By starting an intense musical ballad, you are able to enhance allies nearby. When you cast this spell, choose any number of creatures within 30 feet of you. Creatures affected by the spell have their speed increased by 10, their AC increases by 1, and gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls.
During each of your turns while concentrating on this spell, you must use your bonus action to maintain the spell's effect. If you do not use your bonus action to do this, the spell is lost.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 5th level spell slot or higher, for every 2 spell levels above 3rd increase the speed by 5, AC by 1, and bonus to attack rolls by +1

Just so you know, there's a typo in the title (Balad). Neat spell though!
If it's fine by you, I'd like to copy this for a spell to add to my list since I'm not subscribed to the site.
Of course! Feel free!
Awesome, thanks! I ran it by my DM and we agreed to change it a bit to used a bardic inspiration slot each round that I keep channeling it since we are still low level and it's pretty strong for us.
Using a bardic inspiration each round seems a bit much, considering this is a 3rd level spell with concentration and requiring a bonus action each turn. But sounds like a good change if you and your DM agree to change it up! Let me know how it plays out, I never got the chance to use it in play myself so I'd love to hear how it works at the table!
We are all only level 5 but we agreed on using the inspiration each turn to keep it active instead of any save of some sort. But once I get to use it, I'll definitely let you know how it played out or how the team enjoyed it.
This is a great spell. I made an alternate version for one of my players who wanted a Freedom Domain. Thanks.
You're welcome, glad you and your player like it!
This, is so powerful that as a Bard I would never have used ANYTHING else for concentration during combat, even in the latest of late game. Even when fighting SOLO! It is simply that powerful.
But that aside, it is an amazing concept, seems to require tweaking. But it has in abundance, the kind of creative inspiration that every spell in D&D desperately needs!
I've finally been running a campaign with a bard that has used this spell multiple times over the course of a large and complex dungeon they have been exploring, and I tend to agree. Whether I make any tweaks anytime soon I'm not sure.
Really cool concept! I would either make it a higher level spell (4th or 5th?) or restrict the number of people you could cast it on. maybe both?
Thanks! Will probably be tweaking it in some way whenever I get a chance to revisit all of my homebrew. One of the new ideas I had for it was to have the same benefits, but having to choose one out of the three every round rather than all active at once. Limiting the number of creatures or changing the spell level are definitely on the board as options too as they are an easier but less interesting balance changes to the spell.
I like this, but could you please correct the typo? It drives me crazy!
I love this, but I changed it a bit for my campaign. In order for the creatures to benefit from the increased ac, speed and attack rolls, they have to remain within the 30 feet radius.
Can you please correct the typo in the title?
