Blade Storm

Starting at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you to master of duel wielding.

Choose any two types of weapons to be your Warblades: These weapons can be any simple or martial weapons that have the finesse property. You gain proficiency with these weapon if you don't already have it. Weapons of the chosen types are monk weapons for you. While wielding your Warblades you gain the following benefits:

  • Two Weapon Fighting Style: When you engage in two-weapon fighting with your Warblades, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second Attack.
  • When you use your Patient Defense or Step of the Wind feature, you can make one weapon attack with your Warblade as a Reaction.
  • When you use your Flurry of Blows feature, one of the Unarmed Strikes can be replaced with a Warblade weapon attack.

Cutting Wind

At 6th level, you extend your ki into your blades, granting you the following benefits.

Magic Monk Weapons. Your attacks with your monk weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Cutting Wind. You can spend 1 ki point to strike the air and project violent ki energy towards your opponent, for the rest of your turn attacks with your monk weapons have their reach increased by 5'.

Unrelenting Force

Beginning at 11th level, you can counter and press the advantage against your foe, raining down blows like an unrelenting force. If a creature misses you with an attack, you can immediately spend 1 ki point to make a melee attack against that creature.

You can counter a number of additional missed attacks each round equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of 1), at the cost of 1 ki point per attack.

Blade Furry

Starting at 17th Level, you are truly a frightening force of the battlefield. If you kill a target at the end of your attack you may move up to half your movement and attack another target. This attack chain continues until a target survives the onslaught. When using this feature, you may use Flurry of Blows on subsequent targets as long as you have Ki to spend. After using this feature, you may not do it again until after a long rest.
