Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarian on the Path of the Grieving have a long road ahead of them, and no way back. They may have suffered a loss of a beloved family member, a respected mentor, or even an aspect of themselves. Their rage is fueled by anguish, and they are often driven by a desperate thirst for justice. Above all, they will lay down their lives to protect those remaining to them.

Denial

Starting at 3rd level, while raging, you can use a bonus action to gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Constitution score, losing any temporary hit points you already have. You lose these temporary hit points when your rage ends. You can use this bonus action twice per rage.

Anger

Also at 3rd level, while raging, you have advantage on attack rolls made against creatures that have dealt damage to any creature that you can see other than you since your last turn.

Bargaining

At 6th level, when a creature you can see within 60 feet of you falls to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to sacrifice half of your remaining hit points, immediately restoring an equal amount of hit points to your fallen ally.

Depression

Starting at 10th level, while you are raging, you have resistance to psychic and radiant damage. Additionally, when you are dealt psychic damage by a creature, the attacker takes the same amount of damage.

Acceptance

Finally, at 14th level, whenever an effect forces you and at least one additional creature to roll a saving throw, you can choose to fail, accepting your fate. You must make this choice before rolling. When you choose to fail this way, every other creature of your choice within 120 feet of you automatically succeeds on their save. Moreover, if the effect is one that deals reduced damage on a successful save (such as a dragon's fiery breath), those chosen creatures instead take no damage.

Any damage dealt to you as a result of your failed save cannot be reduced or negated in any means. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
