Base Class: Monk
Tales speak of a path to power said to rival those of gods. Through the combination of ki mastery and deep internal pain, the Way of the Asura is not a chosen path, but one that is awoken within a monk seeking power to extinguish his or her own agony.
Asura's Wrath
Starting at 3rd level a potent but controlled anger builds within you, waiting to be unleashed. You may spend 2 ki points as a bonus action to activate your Deva's Wrath which give you the following benefits if you aren't wearing any armor or wielding a weapon:
Strength checks and Strength saving throws can be made with advantage.
You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. At 13th level you also become resistant to fire, cold, and poison damage.
When you enter Deva's Wrath you gain temporary hit points equal to your monk level multiplied by 5. Any leftover temporary hit points go away when Deva's Wrath ends.
When you attempt to initiate a grapple check, you may instead choose to make an Acrobatics check instead of Athletics.
If you are able to cast spells, you can't cast them or concentrate on them while in this form.
Your wrath last for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn, been attacked since your last turn, or haven't taken damage since then. You may also end your rage early as a bonus action. You may use Deva's Wrath up to the amount of times equal to your character's proficiency modifier before requiring a long rest.
Mantra Fury
Starting at 6th level your fury radiates from your fist. While in Deva's Wrath you can spend an action to spend 1 ki point to increase your unarmed attacks by higher damage die (in the case of 1d10, make it 1d12) which lasts for 1 minute. Furthermore, while Mantra Fury is active, if you make two consecutive hits against a creature you gain temporary hit points equal to 2 + your Constitution modifier. You may only gain temporary hit points in this way once per turn.
Blood of Asura
Starting at 11th level, you use the pain dealt to your body to fuel your power. Whenever you take 10 or more damage on a single attack, spell, or spell-like effect, you may use a reaction to regain ki points equal to your Wisdom modifier. Also your Deva's Wrath ends early only if you fall unconscious.
God Eater
Beginning at 17th level you can now turn yourself into an engine of pure destruction. When activating Deva's Wrath you may spend a additional 3 ki points (5 points total) to grow 4 additional arms out of your back. You gain the additional benefits:
Your AC increases by 2.
You make three additional attacks when using Flurry of Blows.
Any Stunning Strikes made while God Eater is active now paralyze the target on a failed saving throw that last till the end of your next turn or until the creature takes damage from an attack.
