Bard
Base Class: Bard

You have learnt how to twist the hand of fate itself, by mastering your ability of luck, skill and cards. Become Lady Luck by playing the game of fate to bolster your allies with incredible powers and destroy your enemies with devastating attacks.

Fated Deck

At level three you begin to master your cards skills and gain proficiency with card sets.

You now receive your Fated Deck, a set of 52 playing cards (and two jokers). Using this deck you can create powerful now abilities during combat.

At the start of combat shuffle your Fated Deck then draw 3 cards and place them in front of you these are your Pools of Fate.

At the start of your turn draw cards till you have cards equal to your Prof+1 in your hand, now you start your Card Phase.

You may now add cards from your hand to Pools of Fate with a matching suit or discard them, discarded cards trigger unique effects, if you cannot complete the discard effect you cannot discard the card. Jokers can be added to any Pool of Fate.

When you have no more cards in your hand or you have cards in your hand that cannot be placed anywhere you card
phase ends.

If you end the card phase with cards in your hand you must discard a Pool of fate and replace it with a card in hand then discard
any remaining cards, this does not trigger the cards discard effects.

During your turn when you use Bardic Inspiration you may destroy a pool of Fate to trigger its effect.

When a pool of fate is destroyed it is completely removed till the end of combat (cards that discard pools of fate are not the same
as destroying them).

Pool Of Fate Destroy Effects:

When a pool of fate is destroyed it triggers an effect depending on its suit, the power of the effect is increased by the total amount of cards within the pool,
when counting these card Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as 3 cards rather than one. If a pool of fate has a Joker in it, the total is doubled.

Heart: Heal an ally within 20ft for each charge in the pool

Clubs: Adds a bonus to the bardic inspiration equal the charge in the pool

Fatebreaker

Once a day you can perform a tarot ritual to cast the spell Augury. You regain this power at the end of a long rest. When you cast augury in this way the amount of time you can perceive into the future is equal to an amount of days equal 10xYour Level

Starweaver

At 6th level learn how to weave pools of magical starlight which empower your pools of fate. During the cards phase you may place cards in a new pile (the first card placed into this pile may be any card), this cards must be placed above/below cards in the pool in ascending/ descending order (if the pool has a 5, 6 & 7 in it the player may add a 4 or a 8). When a pool of fate is destroyed to trigger its effect its charge total receives a bonus equal to the amount of cards in the pool of starlight (face cards do not count as extra when within the pool of fate).

HEART OF THE CARDS

Starting at 14th level, when you end the card phase you may move cards from pools of fate to the pool of starlight (provided they are added in the correct orders).

When a pool of starlight has all 13 cards from Ace to King you become ascended, add every card in the pool of starlight to a matching pool of fate, any cards that cannot be added are discarded and you then draw that many cards.

You now have a permanent +10 to all pool of starlight effects and you draw 2 more cards at the start of your turn. You may continue to add cards to the pool of starlight on subsequent turns but the ascendant effect cannot be triggered again while ascended.

You are ascended to the end of combat or you fall unconscious or are incapacitated.
