Base Class: Fighter
Fighters of this subclass have been exposed to magical or otherwordly forces that allow them to summon exact duplicates of themself. Though they could be their own best friend, they excel at helping on the battlefield and both scouting and assisting with skill checks outside of combat.
Create Duplicate
3rd-level Army of One feature
Twice per short rest, you can use a bonus action to create a duplicate of yourself that appears in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. You choose a number of your own current Hit Points which you then lose and assign to the duplicate as its HP. It appears with armor and weapons that match your own (but no other items in your inventory), it counts as a creature when targeted with spells, effects, or conditions, and uses all of your statistics for its attacks, skills, and saving throws. You and your duplicates can communicate telepathically while within one mile of each other (no action required). A duplicate disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or after one hour.
In combat, your duplicates act during your turn. They can move and use their reactions on their own, but the only action they take is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your turn to command one to take another action (such as the Help action). You can also sacrifice any number of your attacks when you take the Attack action to command a dupe to take the Attack action. If you are incapacitated, dupes can take any action of their choice, not just Dodge.
As a bonus action, you can touch a duplicate before the one hour duration is up, and reabsorb the dupe. When you do this, you gain back its remaining HP plus a number of hit points equal to your Fighter level. If a duplicate drops to 0 hit points or disappears without being reabsorbed, you do not regain any of its HP.
Distracting Dupes
3rd-level Army of One feature
You and your dupes have advantage on attack rolls against another creature if more than one of you is within 5 feet of the target creature and neither you nor the dupes are incapacitated.
Tough Team
7th-level Army of One feature
Starting at 7th level, your duplicates have become more resilient. Each dupe you create appears with 10 temporary hit points. These temporary hit points are not transferred to you when you reabsorb a duplicate. Additionally, you can use your Second Wind and Indomitable features on any of your dupes instead of yourself.
Helping Hands
10th-level Army of One feature
Each of your duplicates embodies a specific aspect of your personality. When you use your Create Duplicate ability to create a dupe, you may choose one of your skill proficiencies. Until it disappears or is reabsorbed, the duplicate’s proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check they make that uses the chosen skill. You must choose a different skill proficiency for each duplicate you create.
The More the Merrier
15th-level Army of One feature
Starting at 15th level, you can create one additional dupe with your Create Duplicate feature per short rest.
Durable Duplicates
18th-level Multiple Man feature
Starting at 18th level, your dupes’ temporary hit points increase to 20 when they are created.
