Base Class: Sorcerer

Witchblades are born of a lineage of warriors whose great feats in battle shape the flow of magic around them, allowing their supernatural prowess to sometimes pass to their descendents. Some scholars suggest that when the fates and the weave of magic allign just so, one of these warrior mages may come into being through their own force of will, bending the weave and perhaps starting a lineage of their own.

Arcane Warrior

LV1:

You learn to utilize simple magical effects as you fight. 

You also are Proficient with Martial and simple weapons.

You may use your Charisma modifier instead of Strength or Dexterity when you make an attack with a melee weapon.

You may use a melee weapon as an arcane focus.

Magic Ripost

LV1:

When an enemy misses you with an  attack you can use a reaction to atttack the enemy with a weapon.

War Witch

LV6:

When you use your action to cast a sorcerer spell, you make a melee weapon attack as a bonus action.

Magical Armament

LV6:

You may invoke magical weapons and armor at will as a bonus action. The magical armaments are often of an arcane apperance such as a whip of arcane energy or a cuirass of swirling shadows. The equipment vanishes if it leaves your immediate possesion, if you die, or if you use this ability again.

 You may create any one melee weapon or any two melee weapons with the light property. Created weapons are magical, but otherwise use the standard weapon profiles.

 

You create a set of magical armor. While wearing the armor your base AC is 10 + prof. + Dex.

When you take damage, you may use your reaction and and spend sorcery points to protect yourself. You may reduce the amount of damage taken by 5 for each sorcery point spent this way (max 10 points).

You are proficent in wearing this armor. You may unsummon the armor as a bonus action.

Witch Walking

LV14:

You have the ability to blink around the battlefield. At either the beginning or end of your turn, you may instantly teleport up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see.

Magical Flurry

LV14:

When you make a melee weapon attack as an action, you may spend up to 2 sorcery points to make an additional attack for each point spent as part of that action.

Sorcerer`s Blade

LV18:

You now can use your magic to hide in the Shadows, meaning you have advantage on stealth checks.

You now can blink up to 30ft. per turn with your witch walk.


You blade is empowered by the very magic you wield. When you make a bonus action attack and critically hit, you may roll two additional damage dice.
