Base Class: Monk
The legendary warlord Tatsu Stonebreaker was a warrior so strong he could break boulders with his fists. When Tatsu retired from his long conquest he lived as a Monk and a loyal househusband to his beloved wife. Legend says this humble life allowed him to achieve inner peace and the height of his power. Way of the Househusband Monks follow in the footsteps of Tatsu, learning his techniques to protect their spouses and their households.
Strength of the Homemaker
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your Strength modifier in place of your Dexterity for all Armor Class calculations, Dexterity saving throws, and Monk class features. You also gain proficiency with improvised weapons and proficiency in the Intimidation skill. You always have Advantage on Intimidation rolls if you are within 30 feet of your spouse.
Your spouse can either be an NPC described by you when you gain this feature or another player character that has agreed to be your spouse. If you want to change who your spouse is you can do so once every 2 levels.
Ruthless Caregiver
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Medicine and Survival skills. As a Bonus Action you can use a Healer's Kit on an injured ally within 5 feet of you to restore a number of hit points equal to 2d8.
If an enemy is within 5 feet of an ally you heal using a Healer's Kit, you can make an unarmed strike against that enemy as part of the same Bonus Action. This attack is made with Advantage, does an additional 1d8 damage, and pushes the target 15 feet away from you if it is Large or smaller.
Unstoppable Housekeeping
At 6th level, you can expend 1 Focus Point as a Bonus Action to move up to 20 feet without expending your movement or provoking opportunity attacks. While moving in this way you automatically remove all effects in your path that create difficult terrain, and you are immune to the effects of difficult terrain and all effects that reduce your movement speed. Additionally, while moving in this way you can effortlessly pickup and stash any items that are on the ground in your path if you have a free hand. Interacting with an item in this way does not count as an object interaction.
Warrior's Lunchbox
At 6th level, when you finish a long rest you can use ingredients and Cook's Utensils to create a number of boxed lunches equal to your proficiency bonus. You or an ally with the boxed lunch can quickly eat the lunch as a Bonus Action to heal for 2d8 + your proficiency bonus. This healing increases to 4d8 when you reach 11th level in this class. The hit points restored are maximized if the lunch is eaten during a short rest. Unused boxed lunches lose their effects at the end of your next long rest.
Lover's Trance
At the start of your turn you can expend 5 Focus Points to enter a special trance for 1 minute. While in this trance you become empowered by thoughts of your spouse. You have +2 to your armor class, advantage on dexterity and charisma saving throws, and deal additional damage with your unarmed strikes equal to your proficiency bonus. While the trance persists you cannot take Reactions, and you have disadvantage on intelligence saving throws as your mind is clouded by your romantic thoughts.
The trance ends early if you are Charmed, Frightened, Incapacitated, or fall Unconscious. You can end the trance early at any time during your turn (no Action required). Once you use this feature you must finish a short or long rest to use it again.
Mighty Household
At 17th level, you've become the ultimate guardian and support system for your household. You gain special benefits when you are within 10 feet of a member of your household. Your household consists of your spouse and your party members.
- While you are near any household member you grant them the effects of half cover and can direct them to attack your target when you use Flurry of Blows (no Reaction required). The attack they make is made with Advantage and can either be made with a weapon or a cantrip.
- While you are near your spouse you grant them Advantage on saving throws and ability checks and immunity to the Charmed and Frightened conditions.
You know, I just realized that I forgot to list Lover's Trance as a Level 11 feature. Ooops.
Obviously this a silly subclass based on a moderately popular manga, but if you want to take it a bit more seriously here's some clarification/explanation for the Mighty Household feature.
