Base Class: Fighter
Specialized in the killing of spellcasters, wizard slayers exist in a variety of cultures and use numerous fighting styles, all with the singular purpose of levelling the playing field against mages and their ilk. Many wizard slayers belong to knightly orders who train from a young age to hunt down dangerous users of forbidden magic, others are wandering mercenaries selling their services, and there's also those who dedicate themselves to quests of vengeance against mighty wizards who wronged them somehow. Whether their motivations are pure or not, all wizard slayers share the same dislike for magic, studying magic with the sole intention of dismantling it with greater effectiveness.
Restriction
Wizard slayers shun the use of magical items outside of weapons and armor, therefore you cannot attune to wondrous items.
Magic Resistance
Beginning at 3rd level, you have learned to counter magic through your combat techniques. This grants you advantage on all saving throws against spells and other magical effects that target you.
Know Your Enemy
At 3rd level, you may add your proficiency bonus to all Intelligence (Arcana) checks.
In addition, when an enemy casts a spell, you may attempt an Intelligence (Arcana) check in order to recognize the spell before it is cast, with a DC of 10 + the spell's level. On a success you may warn your companions of the spell being cast as a free action.
Magical Denial
Starting at 7th level, creatures hit by you have a hard time concentrating on spells. If a creature has taken damage from you in the past 6 seconds, it must flip a coin, on a failure, it cannot cast spells on its turn.
Avoidance
Beginning at 10th level, you've learned to outright negate spells that would damage you, such as Fireball or Disintegrate. When you are subjected to a spell or other magical effect that allows you to make a saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and half damage if you fail.
Dispelling Strikes
Starting at 15th level, you've learned to shatter spells and enchantments with your strikes. After a successful attack roll, you can cast Dispel Magic as a free action, using your Strength as your Spellcasting modifier, without spending spell slots.
Alternatively, you can use an action to cast Dispel Magic with a range of Touch.
Limited Magic Immunity
Starting at 18th level, you've become completely inured to low level magics. Unless you wish to be affected, you are immune to spells of 3rd level or lower.
