Base Class: Ranger
Rangers are renowned for their prowess with bows, but your skill is the stuff of legends.
Level 3: Overwatch
Provided you have not moved since the beginning of your turn, you may choose to forego your movement for the turn in exchange for the following benefits:
- When you make a ranged weapon attack against a Prone enemy within 60ft of you, you have Advantage on the attack roll instead of the usual Disadvantage. This range doubles if you are at least 10ft above your target.
- When you hit with a ranged weapon attack against a creature that is at least 10 ft below you, the weapon deals an extra 1d8 damage.
Level 3: Quick Draw
When you take the Attack action on your turn and hit a creature with an attack using a Shortbow or Longbow , you may forego any benefits of the Mastery property of the weapon to instead make an additional attack with that weapon as part that attack action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Level 7: Hard Target
If you have half cover against an attack, you can treat it as three-quarters cover for that attack. In addition, when targeted with a ranged attack or a Line or Cone effect, you can use your Reaction to immediately move up to half your speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks. If you end that movement outside range of the attack, outside the area of effect, or behind total cover, you completely avoid its effects.
Level 7: Trick Shots
Whenever you make an attack with a Shortbow or Longbow with which you have Mastery, you can replace the mastery property of the weapon with the Push, Sap, Slow, or Topple mastery property.
Level 11: Nimble Archery
Your Overwatch feature no longer requires you to stand still. Instead, you can activate it by spending half of your movement.
Level 11: Snap Shot
When an ally within 30ft of you makes an opportunity attack, you can use your Reaction to make an attack against the same creature with a Shortbow or Longbow you are wielding.
Level 15: Rapid Fire
You can cast the Swift Quiver spell once without expending a spell slot. You regain this ability after a Short or Long Rest.
