Base Class: Monk
Way of the Tempest
Monks who follow the Way of the Tempest embody raw, unrelenting speed and destruction. Their bodies move like the wind, faster than the eye can track, while their strikes land with the force of a crashing storm. These warriors train to harness the chaotic energy of the storm itself, channeling its power into their movements, attacks, and presence on the battlefield.
Unlike other monks who focus on discipline and inner peace, Tempest Monks embrace the wild, untamed nature of the elements. They strike before their enemies can react, weaving between foes with lightning speed and unleashing a relentless onslaught of attacks that leaves their opponents gasping for breath. Their mastery of motion allows them to build up momentum, striking harder and faster as the battle progresses, while their ability to harness raw storm energy allows them to overwhelm foes with crackling bursts of power.
To a Tempest Monk, combat is not a measured exchange of blows—it is a violent, unstoppable surge of motion. They do not wait for an opponent to act; they control the battlefield through sheer speed and relentless aggression, carving through their enemies like a hurricane tearing through a forest. They are never still, always pressing forward, their movements unpredictable and their strikes deadly.
Whether fighting with their fists, weapons, or a combination of both, Tempest Monks dominate through sheer presence and overwhelming force. Their foes are left dazed, battered, and broken, unable to keep up with the relentless speed and fury of the storm.
While some who follow this path see themselves as warriors of the storm, avatars of nature’s raw fury, others are simply combatants who have refined their instincts to an unnatural degree. Some may have trained in isolated mountain monasteries where the wind never rests, learning to move like a rushing gale. Others might have honed their speed and power through countless battles, adapting to a brutal, unforgiving world that rewards only those swift enough to survive.
Whatever their origins, monks of the Way of the Tempest are a terrifying sight on the battlefield—unstoppable, untouchable, and utterly merciless.
