Whether you are the descendant of time-altering beings or have trained mercilessly in the ways of timing and rhythm, you have inherited the ways of Chrono-Step. Manifesting from the mastery of one's own internal rhythm, you channel your KI to manipulate time around you. Chrono-Step practitioners come in many forms, from long standing traditionalists of spiritual rituals to new age dancers who incorporate their dance moves into their abilities.

Accelerated Opportunity

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to take advantage of a faltering enemy or rectify a failed attack by accelerating time around you. When you miss an attack on an enemy or an enemy misses an attack on you, you may, as a reaction, spend a KI point to make an unarmed strike against them at advantage.

Called Future

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to peer into the dangers of the future and warn others of it. When you use Patient Defense, you may spend 1 additional KI point to gift the same effect to an ally within 30ft. The effect goes away at the start of your turn.

Shift Step

You have mastered the ability of being in two different places in the same point of time. At 6th level, when you preform Flurry of Blows against a creature, you may make a third unarmed strike against a different creature within 30ft, as a present version of yourself briefly appears before them. 

Done This Before

At 11th level, you gain the ability to shift your body back a few moments in time. When you fail an ability check, saving throw or attack roll, you may spend 2 KI points to reroll the d20, keeping the rolled amount.

Temporal Sacrifice

At 17th level, you gain the ability to sacrifice a past version of yourself to escape mortal danger for you or your companions. If you or an ally within 30ft drop to 0 hit points, instead of going unconscious, you may instead use your reaction to swap places with a past version of yourself to take the damage for them or yourself. The creature gains 1 hit point and +2 AC until the end of their next turn. Once your use this feature, you must wait 1d4 days until you are able to do it again.
