Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You have returned from the dead, but your soul has been permanently altered. Fragments of your past lives surface in your mind, lending you knowledge, skills, and insights you never studied in this lifetime. This strange rebirth also allows you to channel necrotic energy through your strikes, marking your foes with the chill of the grave. Rogues who follow this archetype are known as Revived, existing as living echoes of what lies beyond death, walking the line between the mortal world and the afterlife.

tokens of past lives

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, mysterious memories from your past lives surface in your mind. Whenever you finish a long rest, you can choose one skill or tool proficiency that you lack. You gain proficiency in that skill or tool until you use this feature again.

Bolts from the Grave

At 3rd level, you can make spectral attacks against your foes. Immediately after you use your Cunning Action to Dash, Disengage, or Hide, you can make one special ranged attack as part of the same bonus action. This attack targets one creature you can see within 30 feet of you.
You make this attack with a spell attack roll. On a hit, the target takes necrotic damage equal to 1d6 plus your Sneak Attack damage. The damage increases as you gain levels in this class, following the Sneak Attack progression.

Revived Nature

You no longer need to eat, drink, or breathe.
You have advantage on saving throws against disease and poison, and resistance to poison damage.
Magic cannot put you to sleep.

Audience with Death

You can cast speak with dead once per long rest without using a spell slot.
You cannot target the same corpse again until you finish a long rest.

Ethereal Jaunt

At 17th level, as a bonus action, you can step into the Ethereal Plane:
You remain there until the end of your current turn, moving as if on the Material Plane but unaffected by it.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before using it again.
