Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Way of the Blademaster is one that values skill above all else, for mastery of the blade demands mastery over oneself. Sometimes called blade dancers, monks of this archetype make combat appear like an artform. Even when outnumbered, they can cut down hordes of monsters and humanoids alike with nothing but a blade and skill alone.

Superior Swordsmanship

You gain proficiency in Dexterity (Acrobatics). If you are already proficient, you instead double your proficiency bonus on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.

You also gain proficiency in longsword, rapier and scimitar, which are considered monk weapons for you. You can use a bladed monk weapon (such as longsword, rapier or scimitar) to Deflect Missiles.

Blade Surge

As part of an attack you make with a bladed monk weapon of Deflect Missiles, you can move up to your bonus Unarmored Movement before making the attack, provided you end this movement within melee reach of the target. While moving in this way, you don't provoke opportunity attacks, and you can move through the target's space as if it were difficult terrain. During your turn, every foot you travel in this way costs a foot of your movement.

If you do this with the attack you make with Deflect Missiles, you make it as a melee attack with your bladed monk weapon instead.

Duel of Steel

Your Deflect Missiles can deflect melee weapon attacks. If you reduce a melee weapon attack's damage to 0, you can spend 1 ki point to make a melee weapon attack against the target as part of that reaction.

Flurry of Blades

Your attacks with bladed monk weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. Additionally, you can attack with a bladed monk weapon in place of an unarmed attack.

Omnislash

As an action, you can spend 6 ki points to unleash a flurry of strikes. Choose up to five targets you can see within 30 feet of you, then make an attack against each target with your bladed monk weapon. On hit, a target takes 6d10 force damage. If you choose only one target, you can make two of these attacks against it instead of one.

You can then teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 5 feet of one of the targets you hit or missed.
