Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Dragon study dragons, following a tradition that embodies their nobility and rage.
Aspect of the Dragon
Starting at 3rd level, pick a dragon color. You gain their elemental resistance, as well as one of that dragon’s physical attributes, as listed below.
Claws of the Dragon
When you make an unarmored strike, you can spend 1 ki point and a bonus action to add an additional Martial Arts die to your damage of the damage type associated with your dragon.
Eyes of the Dragon
You gain 60 feet Darkvision. At 11th level, you also gain 60 feet of Truesight, and your Darkvision becomes 120 feet.
Heart of the Dragon
You gain proficiency in your choice of Charisma or Constitution saving throws. At 11th level, you gain regeneration equal 1/2 to your proficiency bonus HP per round as long as you aren’t unconscious.
Scales of the Dragon
Your AC increases by 2. At 11th level, you gain damage reduction equal to your proficiency when you take damage from your chosen element or nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing.
Tail of the Dragon
Your unarmed strikes gain a sweeping feature. One creature of your choice that is adjacent to your original target, within range of your attack, and would also be hit by your initial attack roll takes the same damage as your target.
Wings of the Dragon
You gain a fly speed equal to your current walking speed. You fall if you end your turn in the air with nothing else holding you aloft. At 11th level, you no longer fall if you fail to land at the end of your turn, and can use a dash action while flying.
Dragon's Breath
Starting at 6th level, you gain a breath weapon. Choose one of the breath weapons that your dragon type can use. You gain the wyrmling level of breath weapon with a few changes. Regardless of the type of breath weapon, the range stays the same, it no longer has a recharge feature but costs 4 ki points to use, and the DC is now 8 + your proficiency bonus + your wisdom modifier. If it is a damaging breath weapon, the damage becomes 4 * your Martial arts die. Non-damaging breath weapons do not have changes to their effects.
Additional Aspect
At 11th level, you gain an additional Aspect of the Dragon option.
Dragon's Soul
Starting at 17th level, you can spend 8 ki to transform into a dragon of a CR ½ your level or lower. While in this form, you maintain your mental stats and class features, and your resistances and breath weapons are based on your dragon type, but your HP, AC, and other relevant stats are based on the dragon you choose to transform into.
