Base Class: Monk

The Pacifist Monk, as they are nicknamed, have some of the most deadliest armies.   They are incredibly dangerous when facing multiple opponents, as many a band of brigands have discovered.  Many a general on seeing their foes, parlay and ask for one on one combat.   The monks, who value life, can be convinced to agree, though they are much weaker in that kind of combat.

 

Brawl Defense

Pacifist Monks can use other creatures near them to aid their defense.

When unarmored they can, as a bonus action, spend 2 ki points to gain the Brawl Defense for a number of rounds = to your Wisdom Modifier.

Brawl Defense: +1 AC and Dex Saves  for every Small or larger creature within 5 ft of you, max of +5

Stop Hitting Your Allies

When the Pacifist Monk uses their Action to Dodge, the monk may attempt to cause any attacks that miss them to hit anyone of their choice within 5 ft of the monk.

This requires an Acrobatics Check opposed by their target's Insight score.   If the Monk wins, the target takes the damage.

 

 

Choke Hold

At 11th level, a Pacifist Monk gains three Grappling abilities:

  • The ability to make a Grapple attack based on Acrobatics, rather than Athletics.
  • When you do an Acrobatic Grapple attack, you also do subdual damage equal to your Martial Arts damage.
  • You can now grapple creatures up to 2 sizes larger than you, although with disadvantage.

 

 

 

Constant Movement

Your devotion to Peace has been rewarded.  You are now immune to any effect that will Paralyze, Stun, or Petrify you.
