Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Bullet hone their reflexes and aim to
the peak of precision. Able to use their weapons at almost any
effective distance, they flow through the battle catching and
firing lethal projectiles as if they were nothing but harmless
leaves on the wind. An uncommon style, these monks often
face ridicule from practitioners of more traditional martial
arts. Considered undisciplined and inelegant due to their
reliance on ranged weaponry rather than the physical body of
its practitioners, despite the ease in which they incorporate
physical attacks into their form.

Bonus Proficiencies

Beginning at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with all ranged
weapons and firearms that don't have the two-handed or
special properties, and ranged weapons you are proficient
with count as monk weapons for you.
Additionally, you gain proficiency with the Sleight of Hand
skill.

Bullet Style

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can access a
state of heightened awareness when in the midst of battle
known as the Bullet Style. As a bonus action, you can spend 1
ki point to draw up to two ranged weapons, and gain the
following benefits for 1 minute:

  • Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn't impose
disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
  • You don't require a free hand to load weapons with the
Ammunition property with which you are proficient
  • When you use your Deflect Missiles feature and reduce the
damage of an attack to 0, you can choose not to catch the
missile and instead spend 1 ki point to immediately make
one attack with a ranged weapon you are holding as part of
    the same reaction.

Superior reflexes

At 6th level, you've refined your battle instincts into a
defensive tool. When you roll for initiative, you can use your
reaction to spend 1 ki point and take the Dodge action.
Additionally, your attacks with ranged weapons count as
magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and
immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Ricochet

At 11th level, when you miss with a ranged weapon attack, you
can spend 1 ki point to reroll the attack against a different
target within 20 feet of the original target. You can't use this
feature against a target you already missed with the attack.

Bullet Hell

At 17th level, you attain the magnum opus of your deadly art.
As an action while under the effects of your Bullet Style
feature, you can spend 4 ki points to make one ranged attack
with each ranged weapon you are wielding against any
number of creatures within 20 feet of you, with a separate
attack roll for each target. You must have ammunition for each
target, as normal, and you ignore the Loading property of
weapons with which you are proficient for these attacks.
