You learn the power locked within gemstones.Their are many before like you.Many thought that certain gems had medical, psychic or magical powers and were objects of incredible power.The correlation between the mind and gems is not to be understated, in many cultures they were used in therapy.These ideas come from the thought, that if it bent light it can bend magic and energy, and that its orderly structure brought, order to the world around it.You still use the, ancient practices, tapping into the magic of gemstones, and creating them from thin air.

Gemstone amulet

Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level,during a long rest,you can create a amulet of powerful gems.This amulet takes 30gp to make.You can use the amulet as a focus,and when you cast a ritual spell with it,you gain one additional gem.

Create gemstone

Starting at 2nd level,you can focus your magic power into gemstones.Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher,you gain a gemstone as the same school as it.If the cast spell is above 5th level,you instead gain 2 gems of that type,and one gem of any type.As an action,you can use the power of the gem to,help a creature within,30ft of you.One of your gems loses it´s power, and the target gains the gems effects for the next minute.When a gem loses it´s power,it vanishes into a flash of magic.You can have a number of gems at a time,equal to your wizard level.These are the various gems,their effects,and their respective spell schools.

Rose Quartz (abjuration):You call upon the calming power of rose quartz.The chosen creature can add 1d6,to the first save they make each round.

Citrine(conjuration):You empower the target to make a leap of faith.As a bonus action,the target can teleport 10ft.

Diamond(Divination):You call upon the mind boosting power of diamonds.The target gains proficiency in a skill of their choice.They gain, advantage on ability checks made with,the chosen skill.

Blue topaz(Enchantment):You give the target great confidence,they are immune to the frightened condition.

Aquamarine(Evocation):You call upon the clarity bringing power of Aquamarine.When the target rolls a 1 on a damage die,they can replace the result with your Intelligence modifier.

Iolite(illusion):You call upon the reflective power of iolite.When attack would hit you,it instead misses you and the effect of this gem ends.

Black garnet(Necromancy):You call upon the protective power of garnet.The target gains advantage on death saves.

Smoky quartz(transmutation):You call upon the enduring power of smoky quartz.The target gains temporary Hit points,equal to your intelligence modifier.

 

Gemstone casting

At 6th level,you learn three spells of your choice,of 2nd level or lower.These spells can be from any spell list,and must take an action to cast.As a bonus action,you can expend 2 gemstones of any type,and cast any of the spells learned from this feature.

Gemstone fusion

Starting at 6th level,your gems enhance each other and heal the target.When you use create gem and,the target already has,at least one gem affecting them,they heal a number of hit points equal to,the number of gem´s affecting them.For the purpose of this effect,diamonds count as two gems.

Reflecting Gems

At 10th level,your gems shine brightly to prevent attacks.When a creature targeted by create gem,is attacked,you can use your reaction to shine the gems brightly.The attacker is blinded until,the end of your next turn,and the triggering attack is made at disadvantage.

In addition,you learn to harness multiple gems at once.When you use your action to,harness a gems,you can instead harness a number of gems up to, your Intelligence modifier.These can target the same or different targets.

Endless gemstones

At 14th level,you master the art of creating gemstones from magic.You can have any number of gemstones now.When you cast a spell of 3rd level or higher,the number of gems gained is doubled.
