I'm not sure if this is a bug or meant to happen, but when a user releases their only character in a campaign, it removes them from the campaign. This has been especially annoying, because on weeks a member of my group cannot make our gaming session, we release our characters to let another player use them for the session. But afterwards, the player needs to be added back to the campaign manually by the DM. This does not happen when you release a character when you have more than one ( # characters > 0).
It would be nice to be able to release your character for another player to use, without being kicked out of the campaign. That way the player can re-claim their character when they return.

What do you think?

They don’t need to be re-added, they can just keep using the same join link over and over.
