Just as the thread title says, I am unable to share homebrew content I make with my players unless I publish the item to the community.
Everyone has homebrew enabled on their characters, everyone is a member of the campaign. I have a master tier subscription.
When I give them the link to an item or creature I create but haven't shared to the community yet, they get a 404 error. If I publish it, they can view it no problem.
I don't want to publish a lot of them because once I do I can't edit them anymore with out creating a new version, and there are a few items and creatures I want to tweak as the campaign progresses and my players level up.
Any help of what I am doing wrong would be appreciated.
Are you sure your links aren’t getting corrupted? Often times what can happen is during a copy/paste, a little bit of code gets tacked onto the end of a link that will break it, looks like this:

Has that happened?
I don't believe so, I've tried multiple times, with different items and players, all to the same effect. When I copy and paste an item that is published, there is no issue, it is only with items that I haven't published.
I just tested it with someone and it worked fine, I use that method of privately sharing homebrew all the time. Are your players running any ad/popup blockers, browser extensions, or an VPN? One of those might be interfering with DDB.
Invite me to a campaign and send me one of those links, and I’ll send you a link to one of my unpublished homebrews too. We’ll see if it works.

When your players go to view your homebrew, are they logged into DDB? If not, that would explain what’s happening. Published homebrews are viewable by everyone on the internet, Private homebrew you share like that is only viewable by people in campaigns with you, and only while they’re logged in.

They should be, we use DDB for our sessions and they haven't been able to see them but I will double check that. Thanks for trying.
(Thats a very cool hack BTW, that would definitely come in handy in some particular campaigns!)
Thanks! It was handy, and lots of people contact me for it for their campaigns too. Since we are in a campaign together and you have a subscription, you can add that feat to your collection if you want to. In your collection it’ll display as “no longer available” or some such, but it will still function normally on character sheets. And since it’ll be in your collection, that means your players will be able to add it to their character sheets as well.

I can see fluffy just fine. (Pictures or it didn’t happen, right?👇)
Here is a link to one of my private homebrew: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/feats/384540-sanity-madnesses), it’s more of a convenience hack than an actual feat.
